Therapy
Therapy is a collaborative process that begins with an intake appointment to gather information, identify problem areas, and create goals for therapy.
I typically meet with my clients once a week depending on acuity and needs. I see the benefits to regularly scheduling sessions to keep the momentum going. We may transition to bi-weekly meetings once rapport is established, some of the main struggles have been addressed, and skills and tools to use between sessions have been acquired.
I love resources to help with personal growth, so I am also happy to share readings, podcasts, and other learning aids to complement our work in therapy.
The Right Fit
Finding the right fit is important. What ever your “stuff” is, I can help by providing a safe, non-judgmental, and caring place for you to explore what is causing you challenges while creating a new healthier path forward. I have seen the power of the therapeutic relationship. When you find a therapist you just click with, magic can happen. You are able to take a deep breath and lean into the process.
